DES PLAINES, IL A homicide investigation continues into the death of a Rolling Meadows man last month following an altercation in the parking lot of a sports bar in Des Plaines. Police said Wednesday that no one is in custody for a Jan. 24 fight involving two disputing groups outside of Rand Road House, 864 Rand Road.
Thomas B. Adamowski, 34, of Rolling Meadows, died from blunt head trauma two days after the incident, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner s Office.

Village trustees Monday granted a Class A liquor license to the owners of Golden Brunch, 31 E. Golf Road, which will allow them to serve alcohol as early as 8 a.m. on weekdays and Saturdays, and 11 a.m. on Sundays.
