Motorcyclist in critical condition after collision with truck in Flint

FLINT, MI A man is in critical condition after a weekend crash in Flint.
The two-vehicle crash occurred shortly after 4 a.m. Sunday, March 14 at the intersection of Robert T. Longway Boulevard and Chavez Drive.
An initial investigation has revealed a blue Honda motorcycle was headed east on Longway Boulevard when it hit the side of a black Chevrolet pickup, according to a Flint Police Department news release.
The pickup truck was headed south on Chavez Drive at the time of the collision.
The motorcyclist was transported to Hurley Medical Center and listed in critical condition, police said. Next of kin has been notified.

FLINT, MI A woman is in critical condition after a crash that police believe was the result of speeding.
Officers with the Flint Police Department responded shortly after 11 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18 to Van Slyke and West Hemphill roads for a report of a car crash.
The on-scene investigation indicated the victim’s vehicle was headed south on Van Slyke Road at a high rate of speed and collided into a second vehicle, which was exiting the General Motors Company parking lot, according to Flint Police Det. Randy Matteson.
