Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley plans to host a mass COVID-19 vaccination site starting next week, and hospital officials say they hope to eventually serve up to 1,000 people a day.
In a statement released Tuesday, St. Mary officials said the San Bernardino County clinic is scheduled to open Feb. 16 at Our Lady of the Desert Catholic Church, 18386 Corwin Road, adjacent to the hospital.
Once open, the site will be the county s first mass COVID-19 vaccination site in the Victor Valley, according to St. Mary officials who said they volunteered to administer the vaccines.
