Workers At These Companies Say Theyâre Still Not Safe From COVID-19
Forty percent of workers at fast-food outlets and big-box stores say social distancing isnât possible. About a quarter say customers arenât wearing masks either.

Just last week, as Drew Board was about to load a coupleâs car with groceries at the Walmart where he works in Albemarle, North Carolina, he approached the passenger side and asked if everything was OK with their order.
Everything was not OK: The man driving told him to stay back. Theyâd just tested positive for COVID-19. Neither wore a mask.
