Texans Can Now Get Free Curbside Delivery at H-E-B
Great news for people who either need a helping hand with grocery shopping or are still being cautious due to COVID-19: H-E-B has announced that they ll now offer free Curbside Pickup service at any of the 250+ locations that offer the service.

Full disclosure: As much as I love H-E-B, I m not a big fan of grocery shopping in the store. Even before the pandemic, I just wasn t a big fan of crowded aisles and, well.all the people.
H-E-B is a much cleaner and more spacious store than most, but yeah.I d rather get my items delivered or brought to my car. Just a personal preference.
Texas-based grocer and retailer H-E-B will no longer charge $4.95 with a minimum purchase of $35 for curbside pickup orders, the company announced in a news release Monday.
For free curbside pickup, customers must place an order with a minimum of $35 before discounts, promotions or coupons are applied, the company said.
Customers who do not order $35 worth of items will be charged a $2.95 âsmall basket surcharge,â the release said.
âOur goal with H-E-B Curbside is to give Texans an easier, more convenient way to shop for the products they want and need, and we are excited to now offer this service free to all our H-E-B customers,â said Rachael Vegas, senior vice president of eCommerce merchandising.

To get free curbside services, customers must have a purchase that is at least $35 before taxes and before any discounts, promotions, or coupons are applied. Orders less than that will cost come with a $2.95 surcharge.

H-E-B will now offer free curbside pickup for orders over $35, the chain announced Monday.
The move matches free curbside delivery already offered by competitors Kroger and Walmart. But the change from the Texas favorite will make contact-less grocery shopping all that much easier.
