Janesville, WI - On March 3, 2021, surrounded by his family, this world lost a great man and the angels gained another. Al was a loving, devoted, and cherished husband, father, Papa, brother, brother-in-law, nephew, and a great story telling uncle, cousin, and friend. Al was born on March 14, 1952 in Janesville, WI to Delores (Homan) and Jack Tilton. He graduated from Milton High School. From Aug. 1969 to Aug. 1973, Al was proud to serve his country as a sergeant in the United States Marine Corp. Semper Fi.
On Oct. 9, 1971 Al and his high school sweetheart, Susan Beechler, began their amazing journey together. He was so proud of their three children, A.J., David, and Carla, and their 10 precious grandchildren. After returning home from the service, Al Fonze worked for the Chicago Northwestern Railroad, until an injury prevented him from continuing. PORTLAND – B. Rose Thompson passed away peacefully on Jan. 26, 2021 while under the loving care of the Birchwood at Canco staff with her family by her side. She was born in Portland, the only child of Robert H. Haskell and Irene E. (Stimpson) Haskell. Her grandmother and namesake, Beulah Haskell, was a long time resident of Portland.
Rose was a graduate of South Portland High School and attended both Gorham State Teachers College and University of Maine at Orono. She met the love of her life and future husband Paul A Thompson while both were attending college in the Portland area. Paul was attending and graduated from Southern Maine Technical Institute presently (Southern Maine Community College).

Daryl Joe Benjamin, 87, of Niles, passed away at The Ernestine M. Raclin House in Mishawaka on Wednesday, December 9, 2020.
Joe was born on January 10, 1933, in Niles, Michigan to the late Clarence and Margaret (Cornwall) Benjamin. After graduating from Niles High School in 1952, Daryl was drafted into the United States Army where he served his country proudly in Anchorage, Alaska during the Korean War.
His beautiful bride, Zena Joan Brooks waited patiently back home in Michigan for him to complete his service. After many love letters back and forth he returned to Niles and shortly after they wed on September 10, 1955, at Wesley United Methodist Church, recently celebrating their 65th year of marriage.
