ISLAMABAD: Former interior minister Rehman Malik has said India stands exposed while playing a triple game with the United States, Afghan President Ashraf Ghani and Taliban.
He said while talking exclusively to the scribe Monday.
He said India was consistently attending conferences uninvited in Turkey, Russia. Germany, Doha as observers.
“India did not stop its dirty game which contained to play by meeting hardcore Taliban in Doha followed by Dubai and at an undisclosed place in Afghanistan,” he said.
Mr Malik said he had always said India was playing a dirty game by trying to win over the Taliban with a view to getting a pro-Taliban government in Kabul to use against Pakistan and China.

ISLAMABAD: Former president and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday said he had the ability to interact with power circles without any outside support.
He was talking to journalists after securing pre-arrest interim bail in connection with an investigation into the ownership of a New York apartment. Asked whether he wanted to give any message to ‘selectors’ through the media, Mr Zardari said: “Why should I convey a message through you.”
When asked if there was any direct interaction of the PPP with them, he said: “We are also citizens of Pakistan and we are living in this country.”
Malik slams US for including Pakistan in CSPA list

ISLAMABAD: Former interior minister, Chairman Institute of Research and Reforms (IRR) Senator Abdul Rehman Malik has strongly reacted to Pakistan’s inclusion in the Child Soldiers Prevention Act (CSPA) list by the United States (US) and urged the United
States to review the baseless allegations and remove Pakistan s name from the CSPA list.
Terming it an arm-twisting technique to put pressure on Pakistan, he said that it was shocking to see yet another allegation against Pakistan. “It looks clear that the US government response is signaling some more negative policies towards Pakistan,” he said in a statement on Tuesday.

ISLAMABAD: Chairman Institute of Research and Reforms, ex-senator Abdul Rehman Malik on Sunday said the United States is leaving Afghanistan without a withdrawal strategy, which can prove detrimental to the regional peace.
“In the past, we saw that after the USSR defeat, Taliban, ISIS and Al-Qaeda got stronger and pushed the region in ongoing terrorism. The time will tell whether the United States will side with President Ashraf Ghani or the Taliban, however, the Taliban have always been the darling of the United States,” he said while addressing the diplomatic community in Islamabad.
Rehman Malik said Pakistan s sacrifices in the war on terror are greater than any other country in the world as we have sacrificed more 70,000 lives in this war.
