Redford argument erupts in gunfire, killing one and injuring another

An early morning argument erupted in gunfire at a Redford Township mobile home community, leaving one man dead and another injured.
Police Capt. Al DiPrima said the suspect has been identified but remains at large. He is definitely armed and dangerous, but (we) do not believe he is in Redford currently, DiPrima wrote in an email.
The suspect apparently shot both unarmed victims at about 2:30 a.m. May 13 at Warwick Village, near Joy and Telegraph roads.
The injured men, both in their 20s, were transported to a hospital. One was pronounced dead from a gunshot wound to his head. The other, who was shot in the face, is expected to recover.

REDFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – One person has been killed and another has been injured in a shooting early Thursday morning in Redford Township.
According to Redford police, at least two men in their 20s were involved in a shooting at the Warwick Village mobile home park, which is near Joy and Telegraph roads. Both of the men were shot, and one of them died.
Police are still looking for the shooter as of early Thursday morning. No arrests have been made.
Both school districts in Redford Township got good news from voters on Election Day.
Redford Union and South Redford schools both received approval on their proposed bond renewals Tuesday, according to unofficial result reports from Wayne County. Both proposals do not increase residents taxes.
All results are unofficial until certified by the county board of canvassers.
In Redford Union, 1,253 voters said yes and 683 said no. The $59.2 million bond will address infrastructure needs like building improvements and renovations. The district also plans to put money toward programming like arts and career technical programs.
Voters in the South Redford district cast 1,682 approving votes and 575 declining votes. The district plans to put the $79.9 million the bond generates toward critical infrastructure needs as well as modernize things like technology.

“So I’m being pulled over and I’m not stopping,” said Mahon in the stream.
The video started with the first police chase on April 24 at about 4:30 p.m. with Livonia Police. Officers noticed the Red Pontiac with no license plate, in the area of Merriman and Schoolcraft roads. Police said Mahon kept going. Officers eventually called off the chase, but quickly realized Mahon documented each chase on social media.

Livonia man livestreams self fleeing police multiple times
A Livonia man took to social media during multiple police chases, bragging about how many times he had fled officers.
LIVONIA, Mich. - A Livonia man who live-streamed himself involved in multiple police chases in Metro Detroit was arrested and charged with fleeing and eluding.
The Livonia Police Department compiled both dashcam footage and clips from Cody Mahon s live videos he posted to Facebook as he was driving from police on the freeway. So, I m being pulled over and I m not stopping, Mahon said in the first clip, which was posted April 24 in the later afternoon. In the clip, he s wearing a red bandana over his face and sticks the phone out the window to show a cop car with its lights on.
