Earlier Wednesday morning, SCE officials began to receive several reports of a power outage throughout Canyon Country, in areas mostly north of Soledad Canyon Road from Whites Canyon Road to Deep Creek Drive.
After investigating these reports, officials estimated that approximately 10,261 SCE customers had been impacted by the Canyon Country power outages.
Reggie Kumar, a spokesperson for SCE, later confirmed that those outages were actually related to PSPS, but were miscatagorized in their Outage Center system.
When a PSPS is instated in any of the monitored areas, SCE officials say that Community Crew Vehicles and Community Resource Centers will be made available to support customers in impacted areas.
