Warner Chappell Production Music has opened the doors to two new recording facilities: SkyLight Studios in Los Angeles and Sandtrack Sound in Nashville.
The WCPM team partnered with David Kotch of Criterion Acoustics to redesign SkyLight Studios, a former mastering lab located in Hollywood. The building is equipped to offer digital and analog recording capabilities with Pro Tools systems, a Neve console, vintage microphones, tape machines, and A-list outboard gear. The studio’s 500 square foot tracking room features a 9′ concert grand piano.

Studio A features a vintage Neve 8068 console and a Fazioli F278 grand piano
Portugal - Arda Recorders, which opened in 2017, is located in the heart of Porto. It features five independent spaces with Van Damme cabling throughout. Studio A features a vintage Neve 8068 console and a Fazioli F278 grand piano. It has a 100sq.m live room, three iso booths and an echo chamber with variable ceiling. Studio B is suited for most modern productions, with a versatile 20m2 live room and a sound lock that doubles as an amp booth. Its control room is centred around a 32 channel Rupert Neve 5088, complemented with a great array of outboard gear. Studio C consists of a small live room and a control room for voice-over and overdubs sessions.
PMC appoints Dan Zimbelman to management team and Heff Moraes joins as UK Business Development Manager

Loudspeaker brand PMC has made two major appointments, with Dan Zimbelman joining as Senior Export Business Development Manager and Heff Moraes taking on the role of Business Development Manager for the UK.
Based in the U.S., Zimbelman will focus on nurturing and developing relationships with key clients, providing expert advice on all aspects of studio monitoring and ensuring that customers choose the right PMC products for their needs.
He will also work closely with partners and resellers to ensure that they have all the training they need to boost sales in their local markets. This includes training on new formats such as Dolby Atmos for music mixing.
