The cop vs gangster action drama is a fictional story of the duel between Amartya Rao (John Abraham) and Senior Inspector Vijay Sawarkar (Emraan Hashmi) that explores different tangents of hopes, aspirations, friendships and betrayals against the backdrop of Mumbai in the early 90s.

April 19 : Good news for all the Jammwalians, the action superstar of Bollywood Vidyut Jammwal clocks a decade in the entertainment industry and announces his own banner, Action Hero Films.
Jammwal made his Bollywood debut with the John Abraham starrer 2011 film Force, a remake of the Tamil-language film Kaakha Kaakha. He played a negative role in the film and won multiple best debut awards including the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. Post beginning his career with a negative character in Force, Jammwal bagged multiple negative roles in various action films later.

The viewers have embraced and loved me in every character, and this time around I am donning the role of a producer with their blessings. It s my turn to give as good as I got. I see this as an opportunity to empower talented people, said Vidyut, who has completed a decade in the film industry today. I m buzzing with new energy to lay the footprints of Action Hero Films across world cinema.
