Water cuts to affect Tongaat, municipality confirms Updated

The Tongaat Water
Treatment Water Works was shut down today after high voltage cables were
damaged after they allegedly tampered with by cable thieves.
The facility supplies
power to several reservoirs - affecting Emona Reservoir, Hambanathi, Metcalfe,
Belvedere, Tongaat Mamba Ridge, Jon Roz and Burbreeze reservoirs.
This is set to
leave a number of areas with water cuts and interruptions over the coming days.
