The Mid-Atlantic Air Museum’s Annual World War II Weekend and “Gathering of Warbirds” is one of the largest events of its type in the world. World War Two Weekend is like being transported back in time, a feeling that the history books don’t do justice. There’s nothing like walking amongst the World War II planes the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum and other organizations put on display, many of which visitors can even ride in.
