BST|Daigo Umehara shared with his Twitter followers that he d experienced COVID-19 symptoms and tested positive for the virus during the first week of May, but has since gone from self-quarantining at home to being hospitalized.
With Umehara in the hospital, fellow professional fighting gamer and friend Keita BST|Fuudo Ai took to his own Twitter to share the developments.

A young sailor has avoided prison despite leaving a teenager with a fractured skull after a punch on a night out.
Ryan Harvey, 19, was serving at HMS Raleigh in Torpoint at the time of the drunken attack. Harvey appeared at Truro Crown Court for sentence having pleaded guilty to affray.
Prosecuting the case, Lee Bremridge told the court how on Friday, July 31, last year the 17-year-old victim and his friends had spent the evening at pubs in Plymouth before ending up at The Wheelers in Torpoint. Also at The Wheelers were Harvey and friends.
