Connect Transit is seeking community input as the search for a new general manager begins. The Connect Transit Board believes it to be important for members of the Bloomington-Normal community to have the opportunity to provide input into this very important managerial recruitment process.
The Connect Transit Board is offering the opportunity to share some thoughts and ideas about this position in order to help both the Board and the recruiter to develop a complete and accurate understanding of the community’s expectations.
“The hiring of a General Manager is one of the most important decisions the Board will make. Therefore, all of us feel it is essential we hear from transit system stakeholders so we gain a clear understanding of the community’s expectations with respect to this important leadership position,” said Connect Transit Chairman Ryan Whitehouse.

Bloomington-Normal s public transit agency is seeking public input on its search for a new general manager.
Connect Transit has an online survey that asks several questions, including what are the biggest challenges and opportunities a new manager will face in the first year on the job.
