The Covid-19 pandemic made 2020 a year that none of us will forget. But for the brides and grooms who walked down the aisle, 2020 stood out for a very different reason.
The Mail is reminiscing on some of its wedding highlights of the past 12 months – taking a look back at both the pre-lockdown and post-lockdown marriages of this year. Long-time friends Louise Robson and Paul Martin said I do at the Abbey House Hotel on February 13 – a month before the coronavirus restrictions came into place. The couple were joined by 60 guests in the day with a further 70 people joining them for the evening reception at The Soccer Bar in Barrow.

I’ve always had a love-hate relationship with airline loyalty and elite status.
There was once a time where I chased elite status namely on United religiously. I would mileage run to get to the next status tier to enjoy the free upgrades, added flexibility and other perks that come with being an airline’s top flyer.
