The Cincinnati Bengals could potentially snag a second defensive back from the 2020 Pittsburgh Steelers roster.
After signing Mike Hilton to a $24-million deal earlier this offseason, the Bengals are among the teams with interest in cornerback Steven Nelson.
Cornerback Steven Nelson’s market has been strong since becoming a free agent. Nelson has interest and has heard from 14 teams including #Texans#Bears#Eagles#Bengals and #Bills, per source. He continues to be patient waiting for right fit and opportunity. Jeremy Fowler (@JFowlerESPN) May 12, 2021
Nelson is one of the top cornerbacks still on the market, and the Bengals aren’t alone in the quest for his services. They are among almost half the NFL teams that also have an interest in Nelson, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.
Ryan Kerrigan and Dede Westbrook Would Be Good Additions For the Vikings
It has been a very busy offseason for the Minnesota Vikings.
General Manager Rick Spielman signed Dalvin Tomlinson, Stephen Weatherly, Nick Vigil, Patrick Peterson, Mackensie Alexander and Xavier Woods in free agency and drafted 11 players.
The offseason is still not over yet though. They currently have 84 players on the roster and need to get to 90 before training camp.
Both would be welcoming additions to a roster that is already loaded with talent.
Kerrigan has spent his entire 10-year career with Washington after being drafted 16th overall out of Purdue. The four-time Pro Bowler has only missed four career games and has notched 95.5 sacks. He is no longer the same player, but can still play. He added 5.5 sacks in each of the previous two seasons. The Vikings pass rush could have definitely used him last season.

With the 2021 NFL Draft firmly in the rearview mirror, the Minnesota Vikings still need to add a few more pieces to get their roster to 90 players before Training Camp. To that end, they have been linked with a couple of veteran free agents that could help shore up both sides of the football.
The first player is defensive end Ryan Kerrigan, who the Vikings have expressed an interest in according to Darren Wolfson of KSTP in the Twin Cities. Kerrigan was the 16th overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft by the artists currently known as the Washington Football Team. He’s currently fifth among active players in career sacks with 95.5, a figure that makes him the all-time leader for the Red. . .er, Football Team. . .in that category. He’s spent his entire NFL career in DC and is still available in free agency after a 2020 season that saw him put up 5.5 sacks.

Do the Ravens Need Another Pass Rusher?
The Ravens took advantage of the free-agent market following the draft to address the right tackle position.
Will they do the same at pass rusher? If there is a piece of the offseason puzzle that feels incomplete, it s at edge rusher, where the Ravens re-signed Tyus Bowser and Pernell McPhee, watched Matthew Judon, Yannick Ngakoue and Jihad Ward leave as free agents and then drafted Odafe Oweh (first round) and Daelin Hayes (fifth round), The Athletic s Jeff Zrebiec wrote. In Bowser, McPhee, Oweh, Hayes and former third-round pick Jaylon Ferguson, the Ravens have a solid mix of veterans and youngsters, of guys who can set the edge or drop into coverage, of guys with pass-rush potential. What they don t appear to have is a veteran primed to register eight to 10 sacks in a season.
