Liverpool DJ Rick Houghton lands two shows on new radio station

Well known radio DJ Rick Houghton is set to join In Demand Radio to front two new shows.
The station was created by the team behind Reminisce Festival, co-founded by DJs Lee Butler and Steve Cocky and launched last year across Liverpool and the North West.
Rick, from Liverpool, has been broadcasting to the North West for over 30 years, on Radio City, Rock FM and Real Radio and most recently across the whole of the UK on Greatest Hits Radio.
Former Radio City presenter Rick Houghton is joining In Demand Radio to host weekend morning shows.
He’ll be heard via the online station each Saturday from 10 and Sunday from 6.
In Demand launched last year for Liverpool and the North West, created by the team behind Reminisce Festival, co-founded by DJs Lee Butler and Steve Cocky.
Liverpool born Rick has been broadcasting to the North West for over 30 years, on Radio City, Rock FM and Real Radio and most recently across the whole of the UK on Greatest Hits Radio.
Rick will also be working with the In Demand team to help develop new concepts for the station.

The TikToker starts the video by singing original parody lyrics to the tune of Vanessa Carlton s A Thousand Miles as you see a sea of seagulls flying around in the sky near him. In the next shot, you see him holding one of the birds in his hand! He grabbed the seagull mid-flight, finishes his song, and releases the animal, who goes back to flying around like the sky rats we know them to be.
However, New Zealand authorities say the bird is protected, and they did not find the video as amusing. The TikToker said it was an accident and he never meant to physically catch the bird. What do you think?

Let s all try not to gag or crack up laughing as Dano and Dr. Glenn, a few years back, challenge themselves by eating the world s stinkiest fruit.the Durian Fruit! I didn t even know these stinky suckers existed, but they look pretty hard to stomach judging by the noises coming out of these two grown men! Gross!

Scrabble associations across the world are now compiling a new list of over 400 words that are to be barred from use in the game. The game’s makers say they will be outlawing “offensive” or “disparaging” terms. So far, it is rumored that the list will include farting , “goolies , “arse”, “fatso”, “boffing” and “wrinklies . But the changes to the game have angered professional Scrabble players, saying its ruining their game! International games giant, Mattel made changes to reflect a more modern attitude.
