The Madrid-based news outlet Marca has reported that Real Madrid Femenino have signed Lucía Rodríguez, Rocío Gálvez and María García. The three defenders have been brought on to help reinforce Las Blancas’ defensive depth.
Marca’s David Menayo reports that all that is missing to sign these players is their signature and a medical examination that is set to take place this week. All three players are at the end of their contract and will be able to join Real Madrid Femenino without the club having to pay a transfer fee to the players’ respective clubs.

Real Madrid Femenino traveled to Vallecas and dismantled Rayo Vallecano 3-0. Aurélie Kaci opened the scoring in the first half. Substitute Jessica Martínez added a second in the 69th minute before Marta Corredera’s golazo put the game out of reach.
Player Ratings
Starting XI
Misa 7/10: Misa wasn’t called into action much against Rayo Vallecano. She came off her line quickly to cut out one chance and did well to prevent Rayo from scoring on a chaotic corner kick.
Kenti Robles 8.5/10: Robles was dynamic in both attack and defense. She tracked back well and put in good challenges in the rare moments Rayo got forward. She pressed high up the pitch to force the opposition into turnovers. Kenti also got forward well, putting in dangerous crosses and assisting the second goal.
Real Madrid Femenino defeated Rayo Vallecano 3-0 away from home in a much-needed return to winning. Below are my immediate thoughts. Player ratings and post-match podcast to follow.
David Aznar stuck with the 4-2-3-1 despite some recent shaky results, but swapped Marta Corredera’s and Olga Carmona’s positions. With Olga finally playing in her more natural attacking role, Real Madrid’s attack had some oomph. Las Blancas’ #7 was able to use her burst to get past her mark and put in dangerous crosses that tested Rayo Vallecano’s last line. Three of the most dangerous deliveries of the half all flew off of her boot, with the last leading to a rebound that Aurélie Kaci put away to make it 1-0.

Hi, all!
Ramble of the Day
A small question: What’s a totally random, completely insignificant thing that you absolutely despise?
It’s an easy answer for me: twist ties. I really only ever interact with twist ties on bags of sliced bread, and waste very little time disposing of them when I want to make toast or a sandwich. I don’t rate twist ties for practical and ideological ones I don’t think they’re as effective as clips when it comes to closing a bag of food, and I am personally uninterested in figuring out which direction the tie is twisted so I can untwist it.
