JAMES: Todd, it is an unbelievable honor, and I m just blown away to be here with you. And thank you so much.
TODD: Well, of course. This may be inside baseball, but I want folks, to understand something about this man, James. Whenever I do this program, there s three words that are in a Post-It Note. It says, Relax. Pace. Enjoy, because James has held the hands of a lot of guide hosts and guest hosts through the day, and he s meant the world to me in terms of doing this okay job. But I feel nervous talking to James because I ve never talked to him on Rush s program before. What s this meant to you, to put together this podcast about Rush?

TODD: Listen to this. Believe it or not, this is 2009, what you’re gonna hear, okay? So, believe it or not, this clip of America’s Real Anchorman is not from today. It is from 2009.
RUSH: Have you seen the rising gasoline prices out there? Have you noticed them? Now, they are not being reported this time around since Obama’s in the White House. But gasoline prices are trickling up and we’re getting close to $80-a-barrel oil. Not there yet but we’re getting close to it. We don’t need to hit a hundred-dollar-a-barrel oil for there to be real economic impact here and fuel prices includes heating oil going into the very cold winter that is forecast by the Farmers’ Almanac, NASA and Nostradamus. So it’s looking bleak out there. Liberals are doing it to us, liberals in the Democrat Party. It’s called Drill, Baby, Drill!

JASON: Hey, we ve got some more exciting news about Rush today. Yesterday, the Missouri House passed legislation to designate January 12th, Rush s birthday, as Rush Limbaugh Day in Missouri. You know, Rush was from Cape Girardeau and Missouri s most famous citizen for many, many years.
He had a great family, and the vote was immediately followed a response by the Democrats to designate January 13th as Walter Cronkite Day.
Yeah, maybe they should designate it the World Federalist Society Day. Remember Cronkite was a big internationalist. He s been part of this group that believed in one world federal government and all of that stuff. But that failed. So now there s a push on. The House passed the legislation, so it s up to the Missouri State Senate to make certain they follow suit with designating January 12th as Rush Limbaugh Day in Missouri.
