Respect Victoria encourages family support for LGBTIQ+ people

Respect Victoria is showcasing the significance the support of a family member can have on an LGBTIQ+ person in realising and celebrating their identity.
The Shannon Company managing partner, Michael Daddo, said: “Throughout our extensive consultation with stakeholders the need came through incredibly strongly to demonstrate what support for LGBTIQ+ family members looks like, and the impact that even subtle negative responses can have.
“In our research we found very little public positive role modelling and really wanted to create a campaign that had the audience thinking ‘I can relate to that situation’ and ‘I could do that next time I see disrespect happening.

Since its initial publication on March 30,
Women of the Bible Speak has shot to the top of the
Times’ “Advice, How-To & Miscellaneous” best seller list, selling more than 100,000 copies. It has also broken records for first-week sales in 2021, outperforming every non-fiction and advice book in launch week sales, according to a statement from Fox News.
The
Fox News at Night anchor and chief legal correspondent’s book also generated more than 50,000 preorders seven advanced reprints before it went on sale, and topped Amazon’s Best Seller and Hot New Releases lists ahead of its publication date.
Bream’s book was released March 30 and has sold more than a 100,000 copies, according to a Fox News Media announcement. It was published under Fox News Books, an imprint that releases books through HarperCollins.
The relationship between Fox News Books and HarperCollins is being managed by HarperCollins conservative imprint Broadside. HarperCollins is owned by News Corp.

Fox News Books’s first release was “Modern Warriors: Real Stories from Real Heroes,” written by “Fox & Friends Weekend” co-host Pete Hegseth. That book reached No. 2 on Amazon’s new releases top-seller list after it was published in November.
Bream was hired at Fox News as a Supreme Court correspondent in 2007. She signed a new multiyear deal with the network early last year.
