Pupils at a Malvern primary school have been spreading festive cheer with a delivery of Christmas cards to a local care home. All the children in Year 5 at Malvern Parish Primary made cards for residents at Hastings Care Home in Barnards Green. “The children were really keen to share Christmas wishes and had lots of fun designing and making the cards,” said Rebecca Hughes, Year 5 teacher at Malvern Parish. More than 50 cards, signed by all the children, were delivered to the home, run by Worcester-based Sanctuary Care. “The Christmas cards are beautiful and it’s really lovely that the children from Year 5 at Malvern Parish Primary School have thought of our residents in this way,” said the home’s manager, Sue Milward.
