The CDC says you no longer have to wear a mask in most locations if you re vaccinated - both indoors and outdoors. But Michigan has tied its reopening strategy to vaccine rates and lifting the state s mask requirement was only going to happen at 70% coverage.

Teen boy fights for his life after being hit on his minibike
A Pontiac mother is praying every day, hoping that her 14-year-old son wakes up. It s a wait-and-see game, there is no telling right now, she said.
Both her sons Luis and Ricardo were struck by a car at the intersection of Telegraph and Voorheis in Waterford Township while riding a minibike. Luis condition is critical while Ricardo, who was celebrating his 13th birthday that day, broke his leg.

For the first time ever, the Latino music show, “Luz de las Naciones,” had to be broadcast instead of before a live audience because of COVID-19 restrictions.
But as Newsline reporter Lizeth Vejar tells us, the performers and spectators say they enjoyed the socially distanced experience.
More than 1,000 people put on Luz de las Naciones: producers, singers, dancers, band/instrument players and hosts all from Latin American and Spanish countries.
They do it to express their culture, traditions and values through music.
This pandemic did not stop anything due to technology. This year, families enjoyed this show from the comfort of their homes. A different spacing, but the same spirit.
