(WIS) - A 15-year-old has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a 19-year-old woman that occurred last month. The 15-year-old male, who will not be identified due to his age, has been charged with murder. On February 4, Richland County deputies were dispatched to the 200 block of Charleswood Drive in reference to a vehicle collision. Upon arrival, deputies found 19-year-old Raeneshia Nixon with a gunshot wound to her upper body. Nixon was transported from the scene to an area hospital where she later died.

(WIS) - An Irmo man has been sentenced to 19 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to narcotics and firearms charges. Steve Hattar, 57, pleaded guilty to possessing with intent to distribute methamphetamine and possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime charges. According to court records, on Oct. 31, 2019, officers with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department pulled over a car Hattar was driving. During a search, they found suspected methamphetamine, heroin, and other narcotics, as well as three firearms and ammunition.

Lettsome was a school resource officer (SRO) at Ridge View High School. Being an SRO gave me the opportunity to give back to my community, Lettsome said. Lettsome was also Ridge View High School s assistant basketball coach. Coaching basketball was the love of my life. Then, in March, 2019, he received a shocking blow. At 45, he was diagnosed with ALS, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
