Norway s National Security Authority (NSM) notified Rolls Royce that it was examining the planned sale to Russia under the Security Act.
Norway on Wednesday notified the domestic engine maker Rolls Royce Holdings that it was halting the sales of its Bergen Engines to Russian owned by TMH group due to security implications. Norway s National Security Authority (NSM), a supervisory and protective authority for the government of Norway to counter the threat, notified Rolls Royce that it was examining the planned sale to Russia under the Security Act.

OSLO, March 10 ― Rolls-Royce said yesterday it had halted its planned sale of a Norwegian engine maker to a Russian company, after Norway said it might exercise a veto in the name of national security.
Rolls-Royce announced in early February that it would sell Bergen Engines for around €150 million (RM735.5 million) to TMH Group, a privately owned company headquartered in Russia that makes locomotives and rail equipment.
