Taxi unions are set for discussions with the Taoiseach, following garda intervention preventing Thursday s planned demonstration.
This afternoon taxi union reps met with politicians, who have offered a meeting with Taoiseach Micheál Martin.
They want supports for their industry, as they ve been overlooked since the pandemic began.
Jim Waldron, spokesperson with the National Private and Hire Taxi Association, says it s imperative they gain ground from meetings with the Taoiseach.
