Mum of man killed in Cameron House fire upset and angry there will be no fatal accident inquiry THE mother of a man who was killed alongside his partner at a devastating hotel fire in Loch Lomond has blasted the Crown Office s decision not to hold a Fatal Accident Inquiry (FAI). Jane Midgley revealed she is very upset and angry and will appeal against the decision not to hold the FAI. Her son Simonn, 32, and his partner Richard Dyson, 38, were unlawfully killed when flames engulfed the Cameron House Hotel on the banks of Loch Lomond on December 18, 2017, a coroner in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, concluded last Wednesday.
