Westpac shares hit their highest since November 2019 in rising 4.4 per cent to $26.08 at the open, a move that added about $4 billion to the bankâs value.
The Big Four lenders were all strong in early trade and - at their respective peaks - added a combined $8.4 billion to the ASX200.
Westpac shares hit $26.08 this morning, the highest they have been since 20 November, 2019.
