Town newsletter s racist op-ed divides Brentwood, NH board

Selectmen announced the meeting will take place at 6 p.m. at the Recreation Center on Route 125. If the board decides to continue providing funding, they argued for town oversight on what goes into the publication.  A number of residents were outraged with an editorial that appeared in last month’s newsletter titled Racism From a White Man s Perspective” written by Richard Gagnon. They objected to the article being listed as an editorial when it was an op-ed or opinion piece, and they worry that the article gives an unfair picture of their town.
