FLINT, MI Two more Flint-area schools have announced they are returning to virtual learning on Monday, April 12 due to a surge in COVID-19 cases in Genesee County.
International Academy of Flint, a K-12 public charter school, and Richfield Public School Academy, a K-8 public charter school, both announced Thursday that they will be closed for a two-week period.
“Due to the significant increase in COVID-19 cases in Genesee County, and an uptick in cases and contact tracing at IAF, we have made the decision to switch to remote learning for all grades effective Monday, April 12,” the announcement read.
