Perth detectives have arrested a man overnight in connection with the public assassination of former Rebels bikie boss Nick Martin.
Officers involved in Operation Ravello spent Monday combing through a house in Waikiki, in Perthâs south, before a man was escorted in handcuffs into a police car.
The man, who is yet to be charged, was taken to Perth amid a heavy security operation to be questioned by police.
The home of a Mongols bikie has been targeted in a drive-by shooting while a heavily-pregnant woman and her daughter were inside - as fears grow of an all-out turf war between rival gangs.
Neighbours in Port Kennedy in Perth s outer-south heard banging and shouting about 2.50am on Thursday, March 11 police said.
The property on Sirius Place is understood to belong to Mongols identity Jason Gastarov - who previously defected to the gang from the Rebels.
A pregnant woman and her five-year-old old daughter were believed to be sheltering inside the home at the time.
Thursday s shooting follows Rebels bikie kingpin Nick Martin, 51, being shot dead at the Perth Motorplex in Kwinana Beach on December 12.
