Today, in recognition of Pink Shirt Day, myself and several of my colleagues and friends, are proudly donning a fabulous pink t-shirt, designed for the Wetaskiwin Boys and Girls Club, by a talented young constituent named Katie. As most of you know, Feb. 24 is recognized around the world as a day to take a stand against bullying in all forms. This year the Boys and Girls Club decided to focus on the simple but powerful message: Be Kind. This theme is reflected in Katie’s shirt and in her sparkling personality. Let’s take a page out of Katie’s book and commit to being extra kind in 2021.
