Chad Dawson (Photo provided) NISKAYUNA After quitting the state Adirondack Park Agency board in frustration, wilderness advocate Chad Dawson has joined the board of Adirondack Wild: Friends of the Forest Preserve, one of the park’s environmental groups. Dawson, of Onondaga County, is a professor emeritus at the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry, teaching and researching there from 1989 to 2011, and before that for 15 years at Cornell University and the University of Minnesota. He is the former managing editor of the International Journal of Wilderness and co-wrote two textbooks with John Hendee: “Wilderness Management: Stewardship and Protection of Resources and Values” and “Introduction to Forests and Renewable Resources.”
Meghan described her character as similar to “a good friend” because she loved the role so much.
Her on-screen love interest, Mike Ross, was played by Mr Adams and the two sparked a close friendship from their time on set.
During an interview with the late US talk show host Larry King, who died after a battle with coronavirus on Saturday, Meghan reflected on the show.

The Elks motto, “so long as there are veterans, we will never forget them” was evident as Bellefonte Elks Lodge #1094, coordinated by Veterans Committee Chairman Rick Hoffman, assisted by PER Nina King, filled 26 Christmas gift bags for the veterans of Centre Crest, a senior residential housing unit in Bellefonte. Shown is Hoffman as he delivers the bags. Unfortunately this year they could not be delivered to each veteran by an Elks member, and had to be deposited at the front door of the facility. The Elks will never forget what the veterans have unselfishly given of themselves. The bags contained hats, gloves, lap blankets, cards, puzzle books, and much more.
