Coronation Street star Alex Bain has opened up about being a father to his two-year-old daughter, Lydia-Rose.
The actor, who has played Simon Barlow since 2008, told
Inside Soap that he loves fatherhood, although he admitted that it s far from easy. I adore having a child, I really do, and I wouldn t have it any other way. But don t get me wrong, she runs me ragged! he joked. It was quite nice to take a breather in lockdown, and have time to slow down and watch my daughter grow. She s actually just started nursery, which is pretty scary.
