Reynolds joins Kelly Grove Racing for 2021 Supercars campaign Autosport 15/01/2021 © LAT Images Reynolds joins Kelly Grove Racing in Supercars David Reynolds has joined Kelly Grove Racing for the 2021 Supercars season, pulling the covers off his Penrite-backed Ford. Penrite Oils has followed Reynolds out the Erebus door, the Australian company replacing market rival Castrol on the lead KGR entry. The exodus from Erebus to KGR has been capped off by confirmation that Reynolds long-time engineer Alistair McVean has also moved to Braeside. While Rick Kelly ran #15 on what was a Castrol-backed car last year, the Penrite Reynolds entry will sport #26 - a nod to both Penrite s founding year, 1926, and the 26th January date currently used to celebrate Australia Day.

Led by Stephen and Brenton Grove, the Grove Group has made a significant investment in the two-car Ford team to form what will be known as Kelly Grove Racing. It s the first time ownership of the squad has extended outside the Kelly family since the team was formed back in 2009. The Grove Group, a successful collection of businesses running across a range industries, has been closely involved in motorsport for some time.
