VIDEO: Ras Al Khaimah Police seize 1,125kg of drugs

The anti-narcotics agents at Ras Al Khaimah Police seized last year 1,125 kilogrammes of narcotic raw materials of an estimated market value of Dhs25 million, despite the exceptional circumstances imposed by COVID-19 pandemic.
According to Colonel Ibrahim Jassim Al Tunaiji, Director of Anti-narcotics Department at Ras Al Khaimah Police, the anti-narcotics agents succeeded in seizing 1,125 kilogrammes of narcotics in co-operation with the strategic partners in in the other emirates.
Al Tunaiji pointed out that as part of the seized materials, some 763 kilograms of opium were seized in one operation.

The Ras Al Khaimah Police on Saturday announced that they seized up to 1,125kg of different kinds of narcotics worth Dh25 million last year.
Col Ibrahim Jassim Al Tunaiji, Director of the Anti-Narcotics Department, RAK Police, said his officers have busted several attempts to smuggle drugs into the country.
“The 1,125kg of narcotics seized included a bid to smuggle 763kg of opium. Three drug dealers were arrested in the operation,” Col Al Tunaiji revealed.
Those who visit police stations or police service centres in Ras Al Khaimah must present a PCR test result before entry, the Ras Al Khaimah Police have announced.
