It might look like at times nothing is happening on Ralston Road west of Wadsworth in Olde Town Arvada, but I saw work happening during my latest visits. More on what they are doing in just a bit.
Ben Irwin with the City of Arvada tells me the recent large storms have affected the construction zone and pushed back the work a bit, âThe work schedule is dependent on weather, and will be adjusted in the event of adverse weather conditions. We also continue to ask motorists to drive carefully through the work zone, as slowdowns and delays are possible.â

BRANCH COUNTY, MI Police, following a citizen tip, found the SUV and driver they believe struck three children riding bicycles Monday in Branch County’s Sherwood Township.
The silver 2005 Chevrolet Equinox was found on Tuesday, April 6, at a home on Hackman Road near Sturgis in St. Joseph County, Michigan State Police said. A citizen told police about the SUV.

BUCHANAN – Peacefully at home, Eilean, 4 Kintyre Gardens, Campbeltown, on February 7, 2021, Thelma McLellan, in her 80th year, beloved wife of Innes Buchanan, much loved mum of Elaine, loving granny of David and Mark, great-granny of Lee, Eleyna, Alexis, Zac and Avery. Funeral service private in line with current government guidelines. Thelma’s funeral will take place on Friday, February 12. The cortege will leave the family home at 1.00pm after a short prayer. We will head down Ralston Road, Main Street, past the Cross on the way to Kilkerran Cemetery. Anyone wishing to pay their last respects to Thelma may do so along our route. Police charge man after multiple break and enters at Bankstown
A man will face court following an investigation into multiple break and enters in Sydney’s Northern Beaches earlier this year.
Between 8pm on Friday 9 October 2020 and 7am on Saturday 10 October 2020, a home in Ralston Road, Palm Beach, was broken into while the owners were sleeping.
The incident was reported to police and officers from Northern Beaches Police Area Command commenced inquiries.
At the time, a number of items including a cashbox, iPad, computer, several hard drives, a drone and computer equipment were reported as stolen.
Four additional break and enters were also reported to police at properties within the area.
