Tonight, ITV are showcasing some of the greatest moments from the Mr Bean franchise and exploring how the sitcom character - who featured in just 14 original episodes - has gone on to become a global superstar. But the actor has spoken out about how the regrets he has for his alter ego.
The former Royle Family star joined The Graham Norton Radio Show today to talk about his not-so-taxing role in the Caribbean and marvelling at Death In Paradise guest Jason Manford’s turbo tan. “So what have we got? We have got some rambling chat, a couple of guests and of course some great music. Let’s kick off with the original virgin.”
He was joined by long-standing presenting partner Maria McErlane, who is known for co-hosting the Grill Graham agony aunt segment on Radio 2.
