RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) â Raleigh police are releasing more details into a shooting at Crabtree Valley Mall involving at least two people from a large group.
In 911 calls released on Friday, one caller can be heard breathing heavily, telling a dispatcher that they were barricaded inside of a store stock room while observing others ârunning and screamingâ.
âWe were just in our store and shots were fired I believe the bottom floor⦠five shots,â the caller said.

At approximately 8 47 PM last night, thoroughly, police departments officers responded to a shooting in the common area of the lower level of Crabtree Valley Long. What we know is that a large group of individuals was in the area when two individuals from the group began to argue. The argument then became physical. At some 0.1 suspect produced a handgun on fire. The other suspect returned fire. Although we have not received any reports of any gunshot victims,
RALEIGH (WTVD) Two men were shot at an Extended Stay hotel in Raleigh Thursday afternoon and one sought help from a Wake County Public Schools System food distribution bus driver.
According to Raleigh police, the shooting happened just after 12:30 p.m. at the hotel on Wake Towne Drive.
When police arrived, they found a man who had been shot suffering from serious injuries.
A WCPSS spokesperson said a bus was in the parking lot as part of the COVID-19 food delivery program and the shooting victim approached the driver for help. The bus did not have any children in it at the time.
