A WIRRAL mum and daughter are preparing to walk 26 miles week in aid of Claire House children s hospice. Michaela Lester, seven-year-old daughter, Isabelle and miniature schnauzer Frank will be starting the walks from Friday, April 5 and aim to complete 26 miles by the end of the week. Michaela told the
Globe that the inspiration for the challenge came about when Isabelle noticed the local charity shop had been closed and started to ask questions. Michaela said: We explained to her about how Covid had affected charity shops and fundraising, and she thought it was really sad and was asking is there was anything she could do to help.
