With the 2021 NFL draft having concluded a month ago, we’ve still been waiting to see where punter Max Duffy would continue his football career.
Now, Duffy has found his NFL home by signing with the Denver Broncos, according to Mike Klis. As is the case with all undrafted free agent contracts, it will be a three-year deal.
Duffy was a three-year starter in Lexington who finished his career as the all-time leading punter in program history with a 46.0-yard average. In 2019, he was the Ray Guy Award winner and a consensus All-American.
After being drafted by the Australian Football League and the Canadian Football League, being signed by an NFL team adds to an already impressive resume.
