Telangana BJP Leader To File Nomination Papers For MLC Elections Feb 22, 2021, 12:07 IST
BJP leader Ramachander Rao performed special puja in a temple before filing his nomination for the upcoming Graduate MLC Elections. Union Minister Kishan Reddy, other BJP leaders, Muralidhar Rao, Gautam, Shyam Sundar and others participated in the puja ceremony. Ramchander Rao started from the city office to file his nomination. Scores of party workers reached the office and are going in a rally.
Kishan Reddy asserted that Ramachander Rao is one of the persons who works for the welfare of the people. He further added that in 2015, BJP emerged victorious when everyone is in the favour of pink party and now, it is very easy to secure a win in the upcoming Graduate MLC polls because there is a lot of criticism against the TRS party leadership in the state. Monday, the penultimate day to file nominations for the Mahabubnagar-Rangareddy-Hyderabad Graduates’ Constituency elections for the Legislative Council, saw hectic activity at the GHMC headquarters.
While the total sets of nominations filed have been 90 till date, 47 of them were filed on Monday alone by 26 candidates. BJP MLC candidates - N. Ramchander Rao for Hyderabad-Ranga Reddy-Mahabubnagar Graduates constituency, and G. Premender Reddy for Warangal Khammam-Nalgonda Graduates constituency, will be filing their respective nomination papers on Monday.
While Mr. Rao accompanied by senior leaders including Union Minister of State for Home G. Kishan Reddy, National OBC president K. Laxman, P. Muralidhar Rao and others will go in a rally from the city office to the GHMC head office at Liberty, Mr. Premender Reddy will file nomination papers at the district collectorate office in Nalgonda following a rally where party president Bandi Sanjay Kumar, vice president Vivek Venkatswamy, P.
