The oldest of our November babies is Imogen Astrid Fuell who was born at 1.16am on Monday, November 9, at Stoke Mandeville Hospital weighing 6lbs 12oz. Mum Chloe said Imogen s big brother Isaac was very excited to meet her and was a little disappointed he did not get to choose her name - he wanted her to be called Asda. Friday the 13th was lucky for Ada Rae Davies parents. Ada, from High Wycombe, was born on Friday, November 13 at 10.16pm, weighing 6lbs 12oz at Stoke Mandeville Hospital.

Belleville singer and songwriter Robyn Scott has just released a new song, just in time for the holiday season.
The upbeat country song was inspired when Scott heard strange thumping sounds on her rooftop during the holiday season.

According to Scott, who was enjoying some eggnog, there was a ruckus on the roof of her house. That is when Scott stopped wrapping her last-minute holiday gifts and headed outdoors to see what the fuss was about. Only Scott knows for certain what happened, but she swears she heard and saw eight reindeer with a sleigh pulling an elf as they flew into the night.

Doctors treating some COVID patients at home as Alabama hospitals run low on beds

Dr. Blayke Gibson works at the front lines of the COVID pandemic in the emergency department at UAB Hospital, where she sees some of the state’s sickest patients.
But as beds fill up at UAB and across the state, Gibson and her colleagues are increasingly sending some of them home as part of a program designed to treat borderline cases outside of the hospital. UAB has purchased inexpensive pulse oximeters that can be sent home with patients and allow them to monitor their oxygen levels remotely, saving hospital beds for patients who are sicker. Doctors follow up by phone or video call within 24 hours and frequently after that, to make sure the patient isn’t getting any worse.
