Alex Telles could finally convince Luke Shaw s doubters of his quality at Manchester United

In recent clashes against Everton and Wolves, Telles was replaced by his £27million teammate with great effect.
United were searching for goals in both games and few sides would consider replacing one left-back with another. Yet that is exactly what Solskjaer did, and his side went on to win both.
Shaw has divided opinion among some United supporters for years. Yet the simple fact is he is one of Solskjaer’s most trusted players – and with good reason.

Still only 25, Shaw could soon be approaching his peak. And that is an exciting prospect both for him and for United as a whole.
