The heartbroken partner of a father-of-two, who died following a brutal assault, has said she will never stop fighting for justice until his killer is behind bars. Mark Yob Loughlin (29), from Edenderry, Co. Offaly, died in Naas General Hospital in the early hours of Sunday morning last after he was found with severe injuries on the roadside in Allenwood, Co. Kildare. Today, Deanna Gill, who has a nine-week-old daughter Aleigha and 18-month-old son Tadgh by Mark, slammed his killers saying they have robbed the couple s children of their father. The people who did this have taken the daddy of our two little babies away from them, Deanna told the Sunday World.

Offaly man killed in Allenwood assault named locally Reporter: );   ); A man found dead in Kildare after an assault has been named locally as Edenderry man Mark Loughlin. His body was discovered on a public road in Allenwood, about 27km south of Edenderry, in the early hours of Sunday morning, January 3. Gardaí at Naas Garda Station are currently investigating all the circumstances of the assault and associated incidents. Gardai from Robertstown responded to a call of a public order incident at Allenwood South at approximately 0.45am on Sunday. A silver Audi car was reported to have been involved in a collision with a Red Renault Trafic van. On arrival at the scene, no complaint was forthcoming to gardaí but the two vehicles were detained pending forensic examination.

Richard highlighted that he appreciates the on-farm support he receives from Irish Hereford Prime and is fully supportive of the recent Hooves4Hospice campaign “as it’s such an important worthwhile cause and the calendar produced to raise funds is a great way to showcase Hereford farmers”.
