Diddy is taking a lot of heat for mourning the loss of his former artist Black Rob. Some fans are upset Diddy failed to step up and help Rob when he was homeless and sick before he died a destitute.
After Black Rob, who was born and raised in New York as Robert Ross, passed away at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta on April 17, 2021, Diddy said he would foot the bill for Rob’s memorial and burial,

NEW YORK Rapper Black Rob, known for his hit “Whoa!” and key contributions to Diddy’s dominant Bad Boy Records in the 1990s and early 2000s, has died. He was 52.
Black Rob died Saturday in Atlanta, according to longtime friend and former labelmate Mark Curry, who said he was holding the hip-hop performer’s hand at the end. He’d been hospitalized and suffered multiple health problems in recent years, and died of cardiac arrest, Curry said.
“Rest in power, King,” Diddy wrote on Instagram. “You have made millions of people all over the world feel good and dance!”

With the recent death of an artist who was once signed to his label, Bad Boy, Sean Combs, also known as Diddy, had offered to pay for the funeral of Harlem, New York’s Black Rob, born Robert Ross.
The “Whoa” emcee passed away last week at Atlanta’s Grady Memorial Hospital after suffering from a number of health issues,

Rolling Stone that Black Rob passed away at the age of 51 after going into cardiac arrest caused by a rare kidney disease.
