After four long years, we finally have a new president and, more importantly, new presidential pets. Usually the thrill of pets arriving at the White House is tempered by the sting of old presidential pets leaving the White House, but this year is different: Donald Trump is the first president in more than 100 years not to have a pet of any kind, so we can say goodbye to his rotten administration without stray sympathy for any blameless dogs, cats, or possums getting evicted alongside their captors.

RTE viewers were heartbroken for Jeni Pim tonight as she told about losing her husband Nigel to Covid-19.
Jeni was praised as an inspiration as she broke down in tears on tonight s Late Late Show.

Jeni lost her husband Nigel a week ago
She lost Nigel just a week ago on Thursday and admitted the loss was still raw.
She revealed she brought Nigel to the hospital after he got a test done because she was worried about his breathing.
But he walked into the hospital and never came out.
She said: He was really sick and I kept squeezing his hand and saying, I love you, it s going to be OK. You re going to the right place, they know what they re doing and they ll mind you .
