A four year fight to solve the problem of sinkholes repeatedly opening up on a Norwich residential street has been reignited after another collapse.
The latest gaping hole to have appeared in the tarmac on Elm Grove Lane has been cordoned off amid safety fears.
Resident Jo Hiller, who with her partner Robert Little, have been trying to get the issues of repeated dangerous collapses at the same location solved since a major water main burst in 2016. Every year since then something has sunk like a manhole cover or a hole has appeared.”
The force was strong on Tuesday as Durham School Services celebrated May 4 - known as Star Wars Day - with an event to gather supplies for summer school.
During the May the Fourth be With You event at Tony s Pizza Events Center, the service asked the community to stuff the bus with school supplies.
Kevin Kuder, the general manager of Durham in Salina, said he wanted the company to serve the community beyond just driving buses for the school district. We were going to do a community event with a need we saw, a stuff-the-bus for school supplies, Kuder said. I wanted to have more hype to it so I reached out to the sheriff s office.
