A gangster s moll who faced five years in jail after being caught with her lover s gun has been freed because a judge ruled she must have been in a state of hormonal upheaval at the time.
Mother-of-two Amy Quinn, 27, was arrested after detectives found the loaded Glock 26 pistol buried at her home in Oldham, Greater Manchester.
Her boyfriend Clive Wallace, an underworld Mr Big who operated as a talent scout for crime gangs, had previously seized the pistol after it was fired in the air during a 5am gangland fight.

A woman allegedly killed by a driver was going to die no matter how bystanders responded because her injuries were irretrievable , a forensic pathologist claims.
Soafa Niumagumagu is on trial at the High Court in Auckland for murdering Sagaia Kaisala, 32, with his car.
He is also accused of the attempted murder of his ex-wife Puapuaga Matamua after stabbing her multiple times moments before Kaisala s death. Kaisala had run to Matamua s aid.

A first aider at an Auckland packaging factory has described performing CPR on a woman who was allegedly murdered by the driver of a speeding car at a trial at the High Court in Auckland.
Saofa Niumagumagu is accused of ramming his car into Sagaia Kaisala, 32, as she tried to run for cover in the carpark of her workplace Oji Fibre Solutions on Mahunga Drive in Māngere Bridge.
