Jail for Swindon drug dealer caught selling to undercover police

Blair Egerton s custody shot Picture: WILTSHIRE POLICE A HEAVILY-tattooed drug dealer who sold heroin and crack to undercover police officers has been jailed for four-and-a-half years. Swindon Crown Court heard former addict Blair Egerton, who was badly injured in a car crash, was in such a bad way last year that he had begged his lawyers to get his case listed so he could be sent inside. The 33-year-old, who is now on a prescription for a class A drug substitute and has rekindled his relationship with his family, was yesterday jailed for four years and six months after he admitted supplying class A drugs and being concerned in supplying class A drugs.

Suspended sentence for bully who broke bed in attack

A “BULLY” throttled his partner with such force he broke their bed, a Swindon court heard. Robert Gale, 26, also pushed his son’s mother into the bath, resulting in her falling under water, pulled her hair and kicked out at a car after he thought the woman’s friend was smirking at him. But the Grange Park man was spared an immediate spell in custody after a judge at Swindon Crown Court heard he was remorseful, had stayed out of trouble in the 18 months since the offences took place and still regularly looked after their son. He was no longer in a relationship with his victim.
